Since 1996 the WIND-consult GmbH is accredited as testing laboratory.

DKD-Accreditation for Anemometercalibration
From October 2007 to March 2018 the WIND-consult GmbH was accredited for calibrations within the range flow measured variables. This service has since been outsourced to the subsidiary Ammonit-Wind-Tunnel GmbH.

MEASNET
In 2002 WIND-consult became an associated member of MEASNET, the international organisation of wind energy measuring institutes. After successful participation in international round robin tests the fulfilment of the MEASNET quality criteria for the testing fields Loads, Acoustic Noise, Site Assessment and Power Performance was confirmed.

IECRE Conformity
Since May 2017 WIND-consult GmbH participate in the IECRE – IEC System for Certification to Standards relating to Equipment for use In Renewable Energy Applications in the fields of Power performance measurements, Measurement of mechanical loads and since July 2019 in the field of Acoustic noise measurement techniques.

FGW Conformity
WIND-consult is a member of the Fördergesellschaft Windenergie e.V. (FGW) since 1991 and is active in the  committee of experts for power curve, power quality, noise and wind potential & energy yields. Measurements of power curve and power quality on wind turbine generator systems are carried out by WIND-consult according to the conformity criteria of the FGW.

FGW Conformity
In May 2017 the conformity to work in the areas of power curve measurement, load measurement and anemometer calibration according to the rules and regulations of the IECRE system was confirmed by an IECRE assessment. Since November 2015, the company has been a member of the WE-OMC SG 551 “Test Laboratories” working group at IECRE as well as of the national mirror committee of the DKE.

Power quality measurements – cooperation agreement with the windtest grevenbroich GmbH
In the field of power quality measurements a cooperation agreement with the windtest Grevenbroich GmbH exists since 2014. We are now able to offer necessary test units (FRT-container) for voltage dip tests.

WIND-consult is authorized for measurements of power curve and noise emission on wind turbine generator systems according to the Danish guidelines.

Experts committee of the BWE (periodical inspection)
Periodical inspections are carried out according to the quality criteria of the experts committee of the Bundesverbandes WindEnergie e.V. (BWE).

The determination of wind potential and energy yield of wind turbines is carried out according the minimum standards for wind resource estimations of the BWE-Windgutachterbeirats.
